LEHI Home > Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarship Opportunities

Cost of LEHI per Participant
  • $5000 USD for tuition
  • $3000 USD for travel and accommodations (approximate)

Limited scholarships are available for qualified applicants. If accepted, you will be provided with scholarship opportunities. Separate scholarships are available to cover full or partial costs of both tuition and travel & accommodations. In previous years, most of our participants who apply for scholarships have been able to receive full or partial scholarships to cover tuition and travel & accommodations. Throughout its 10 year history, LEHI travel and tuition scholarship have been accepted by all participant state ethics committees as a sanctioned expense.  However, it is up to each participant to check with their legislative rules regarding scholarships.

You will be notified if you have received a scholarship by April 30.

If you have a legislative group or other such entity who may be able to provide you with scholarship assistance for LEHI, please indicate so during the application process, or contact Nate Weigel at nate.weigel@pnwer.org or 206-443-7723.

Scholarships are available for legislative members through the following legislative organizations:
  • Pacific NorthWest Economic Region
  • National Conference of State Legislators
  • The Energy Council
