ENERGY

Current Initiatives:

The Legislative Energy Horizon Institute (LEHI)
is designed to educate state legislators on the North American energy infrastructure and delivery system. High turnover in state legislative bodies decreases the institutional knowledge concerning complex energy issues in states and provincial legislatures. Legislators who develop state energy policy often lack a comprehensive understanding of how energy infrastructure operates. Click here for more information

Energy Working Group
In the Energy working group, PNWER works to find ways to provide sustainable energy for North America to fuel economic recovery and create a low-carbon future for North America.

PNWER brings together key industry leaders from the U.S. and Canada to examine the following key issues:
  • Supply and demand
  • Transmission
  • Permitting across multiple jurisdictions

PNWER also leads the Legislative Energy Horizon Institute (LEHI) to educate legislators on energy policy. For more information please click here

See the most recent update on LEHI in the Annual Report here.
