The Agriculture Working Group focuses on the Regulatory Cooperation Council Action Plan specifically, the three main agricultural topics:
- Food safety
- Mutual reliance of food testing results
- Crop protection products
At PNWER's 2012 Summit in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the group released a statement in support of the RCC to the region's agriculture sectors, calling on the governments of Canada and the U.S. to reaffirm their commitment by ensuring adequate resources are dedicated to the action plan's initiatives.
The working group commits to:

Working with RCC officials to address information gaps
- Providing clarity to industry stakeholders with respect to roles, processes and opportunities for input
- Identifying new areas of collaboration; and

Seeking timely and successful conclusion on initiative
